    What are "groups?"

I see them as an option here (and on other message boards) and was wondering what they were...

It almost looks like a social network feature. Like you can create a group of people with similar interests and have discussions with them. I've never tried it so I'm not too sure.

Actually I haven't gotten a chance to learn all of the new features but I believe it's a new feature on vbulletin4 (vbulletin 3 didn't have it). Essentially what naql explained. Since we're still small they're kind of useless right now, but as the forum grows I can see it being helpful for people in specific states or locations to create groups to schedule pappy playdates and things like that.

Andy I am having a hard time figuring out how to send an invite to add someone to a group? I would like to add Bijoux since they are from Florida also.

I think you go to the Admin menu on the group page and select "Pending & Invited Members".

Groups are not really of any use yet, In my opinion.

The allow you to in a sense have little cliques of people. So for example you may have a "Black and white papillion lovers" group, which people could join, But actually that is pretty much the only function currently, as far as I'm aware
If life was like a box of chocolates, for me, it would be all gone.
