    Your Favorite Homemade Treat Recipes

    What is your favorite treat recipe? I find that little squares of bread with tiny slices of cheese are a favorite here. I just slice up the bread into squares, put cheese on them, then heat them up in the microwave until they're melted (usually about 30 seconds).

    I find that with Kongs, filling it up with my CocoFruit Smoothie and popping it in the freezer makes my puppies go crazy over it. You can use as much of the ingredients as you want. Here is the recipe:

    • Banana
    • Blueberries
    • Figs
    • Milk
    • Coconut Oil

    Here are some recipes (that aren't mine) I haven't tried yet but I think the dogs would like them.

    Dog Ice Cream Recipe
    * 32 oz. Plain Yogurt
    * 1 Mashed Banana
    * 2 Teaspoon Peanut Butter
    * 2 Teaspoon Honey

    Blend all together and freeze in either 3 ounce paper cups or ice cube trays.

    Low-Fat Cream Cheese Biscuits

    *1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
    *1/3 cup oatmeal
    *3 oz. cream cheese
    *1/3 cup applesauce
    *1/3 cup water

    Preheat oven to 375
    Combine flour and oatmeal in a large bowl. Place the cream cheese, applesauce, and water in food processor and mix until cream cheese is smooth and liquid like. Pour cheese/applesauce mixture into dry ingredients and mix. Knead into a dough, adding extra flour if necessary. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Roll dough to about 1/4 inch. Place cookies on a baking sheet with greased or non-stick foil. Bake for 20 minutes. Store fridge in airtight container.

    Apple Cinnamon Snaps

    *4 cups whole wheat flour
    *1/2 cup cornmeal
    *2 tbls vegetable oil
    *1 cup apple sauce
    *1 tsp cinnamon
    *1/2 cup of water

    In a large bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, oil & cinnamon. Stir in the water and applesauce. Mix until it is a stiff dough. Knead until it is smooth. Roll out on a lightly floured surface. Bake at 325 until they are browned and crunchy.

    8 boiled chicken livers
    4 oz cream cheese
    1/4 cup yogurt

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
    Mix together flour, baking soda, peanut butter, peanut oil, bananas and eggs.
