    Unhappy Tonsillis removed

Well my poor Radar boy did in deed have his tonsillis removed today as well as a tooth pulled. The vet said that the tonsillis were badly infected and they have sent them "out" for examination. Apparently the antibiotics he had been on were not working to fight the infection.

I had my tonsillis removed as an adult so I can only imagine the pain the poor little guy is feeling. Hopefully he is feeling better soon.

Thanks for all your get well wishes....and frosty paws. Poor Radar literally howled on the way from the vet which surprised me because he never complains...even with all the pain of chronically infected tonsils. He is resting now on the foot of the bed with the other boys, he even ate a little softened food and braved the snow to wonder around the yard some.

I've never heard of a dog getting his tonsils out! Glad he's on the mend.

How is he doing? I've been wondering the past few days how he has been.
